In May 2025, when we transisition to UKG Pro WFM, the Timekeeping Manager Assignment Application (TMAA) will no longer be used to configure manager visibility.
The current process for configuring manager visibility in Kronos involves using Access Control Numbers (ACNs) and Employee Groups to control which employees a manager can see based on department codes and ACNs. This system requires careful setup and management, and the Timekeeping Manager Assignment Application (TMAA) to associate positions with a manager’s ACN.
With the new system, UKG Pro WFM, the process for configuring manager visibility in Kronos will be simplified by using the "Reports To" field for manager assignments. Employee visibility will be directly linked to the manager they report to, streamlining the setup and reducing the complexity of managing visibility settings across departments. This change will eliminate the need for assigning ACNs and managing Employee Groups in the system.
Upon initial import, the “Reports To” field will default to the position manager in UCPath. Departments will be able to update this field as needed to reflect any changes for the position/employee.
Below is an example, in UKG Pro WFM, of an employee with multiple assignments that report to different managers:
More detailed information and instructions on how to update the "Reports To" field will be made available along with additional WFM training material prior to go-live.
