In May 2025, when we transisition to UKG Pro WFM, Function Access Profiles (FAPs) will be updated to create efficiency and standardization in WFM.

Function Access Profiles are a set of permissions and restrictions that determine which components users can access and the types of functions they can perform. With edits to the Function Access Profile for Payroll Managers and Timekeepers in UKG Pro WFM, we are able to streamline and centralize key configuration processes, shifting responsibility for updates and changes from individual departments to Information Technology Services (ITS).

Payroll Managers and Timekeepers will still be responsible for reviewing configuration and updating/maintaining the employee’s email address and Reports To field. Beginning in May 2025, the main change in process will be that the responsibility for changes to some configuration items will be moved to ITS. Department representatives will be able to request changes for their employees via Service Now and a timekeeping SME will review and update configuration as requested ensuring alignment with UCPath Job Data.

The table below illustrates the changes from current state (WFC) to future state (WFM):

More detailed information and instructions on how Payroll Managers and Timkeepers will make/request updates will be made available along with additional WFM training material prior to go-live. If Payroll Managers and Timekeepers have questions or concerns not covered in the information above, please submit a ticket in ServiceNow using the following link: Timekeeping Refresh Project Question.
