Dear Payroll Managers and Timekeepers,

We are writing to formally announce the successful conclusion of the first phase of the Timekeeping Refresh Project. This initial stage focused on establishing a foundation for project execution. We are pleased to report the following achievements:

  • Project Plan Development: A comprehensive project plan has been developed, outlining timelines and milestones to guide an efficient implementation.
  • Basic System Configuration: The core system configuration for the new timekeeping system (UKG Pro Workforce Management) is now complete, laying the groundwork for further customization.
  • Logical Blueprints Defined: Our team has defined logical plans for the Timekeeping Manager Assignment Application (TMAA) and data retention.

Now that we have a strong foundation established, we are transitioning to the next phase of the project, in which we will work to accomplish the following:

  • UCPath Integration Development:  Development of new integrations between the new timekeeping system and UCPath.
  • Continued System Configuration: Continue refining the system to optimize its functionality and tailor it to our specific needs.
  • TMAA & Data Retention Engineering: The engineering of the TMAA replacement and data retention systems will commence.
  • Testing: The core project team will perform system testing to ensure the new system effectively meets campus requirements.
  • Training Material Development: Comprehensive training materials will be crafted to prepare you for a smooth transition to the new timekeeping system.

The system will go live in May 2025. We will continue to provide you with regular updates throughout the next phase. For additional information, please visit our project webpage. For inquiries or requests please do not hesitate to contact the Timekeeping Refresh project team at ithelp.ucsb.edu.

We appreciate your continued patience and support as we work diligently to implement our new timekeeping system.
