Dear Payroll Managers & Timekeepers,
Southern California Edison (SCE) has identified necessary maintenance that must be performed on the power transmission system serving the campus. This work will require a power service interruption (i.e. power outage) to the UC Santa Barbara main campus and all areas served by the campus electrical distribution system.
The service interruption is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020, and campus should be fully operational by the afternoon of Sunday, September 20, 2020.
During this outage, Kronos time clocks will be unavailable. Kronos users who record their hours using a time clock should notify their supervisors of their in and out times, either by emailing at the beginning and end of their shift that day or by using another departmentally-approved procedure. The supervisor can then input the employee's in and out times onto the timecard.
